Dave Peak—Co-Founder, CEO

Dave leads LiquidTalk with his contagious passion and vision for transforming the mobile workplace, bringing a wealth of sales, strategy and entrepreneurial expertise to the cause. Prior to founding LiquidTalk, he was Global Account General Manager at Carlson Companies—a $50B marketing, travel and hospitality conglomerate at which he received the prestigious Ovation Sales Award. In 1999, Dave founded OwnerCare, a manufacturing after-market software provider later sold to Aftermind. Dave also has served as a strategy and business development consultant for Sapient Corporation and The Kalchas Group. Dave received an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School, a BA from Middlebury College and a GC from the London School of Economics.

Dan Anderson—Co-Founder, Operations

Dan shapes LiquidTalk’s product and service delivery, drawing on a career of experience in technology strategy, development and operations. Previously, Dan was Director of Development and Operations for enterprise software firm DemandTec Inc., supporting clients of its hosted consumer demand management product suite on three continents. Dan also has managed SaaS application development for start-up companies including RestaurantPro, OwnerCare, and ServeLink; and served as a performance improvement consultant for Sapient Corporation. Dan received an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BS in Computer Science-Physics from the University of Dayton.

MBVC is an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in a wide range of information technology and life sciences companies. The firm was founded in late 2005 by Glen Meakem and Dave Becker, who managed the explosive growth, record breaking IPO and final sale of sourcing process automation provider FreeMarkets to Ariba in 2004 as FreeMarkets’ co-founder, Chairman and CEO and President and COO, respectively. The MBVC investment team uses deep experience and resources to help entrepreneurs build and scale their businesses. MBVC is headquartered just outside of Pittsburgh.
